In under five years, Guyana’s Oko district went from a greenfields address to more than 9 million ounces of gold, a completed feasibility study and a C$3.0 billion takeover. Very few districts anywhere have matched that pace of value creation.
Liberty Metals has now secured a foothold on both sides of it.
The company has executed a binding agreement to acquire a 90% interest in the Oko North and Oko South Gold Projects: 40 granted mining permits covering ~180km2 across two consolidated blocks in the Cuyuni Mining District.
