ASX: LIB / Cuyuni Mining District, Guyana / UTM Zone 21N
Liberty’s position in the Oko gold district
Two consolidated blocks on the interpreted Oko shear corridor. Oko North abuts G Mining Ventures ground; Oko South covers the interpreted southern continuation, roughly 30km further along trend.

The workings corridor is the crux
A 5.3km corridor of artisanal workings runs through Oko North and continues into GMIN ground. If mapping places them on the shear, Liberty has a drill target on the boundary of a multi-million-ounce camp.

Schematic diagram. Block shapes, geology, drainage and the shear corridor are illustrative, drawn from Figure 1 of the ASX announcement dated 21 August 2026 and from third-party observation. They are not tenement boundaries, not survey data, and must not be used to determine the location or extent of any permit. The workings corridor shown is an unverified third-party georeferencing observation, not company data.

PRE-2019
Effectively unexplored
First alluvial rush in the 1870s and small historic mines, but the Oko property had never been drilled or modern-explored.

Mapping places the workings on shear or in drainage. Rock chips test in-situ material. First soil lines are used to produce a coherent anomaly.

The board
In August 2026 Liberty added two directors with direct Guiana Shield experience: one who has explored it, and one who has mined it. Between them they also cover the Birimian belts of West Africa, the same terrane before the Atlantic opened.
Non-Executive Director, appointed 26 August 2026
Travis Schwertfeger
A geologist with more than 25 years across gold and copper in South America, Africa, North America and Australia, including seven years with Newmont. He spent six years as Managing Director of Alicanto Minerals leading exploration in Guyana, and founded Many Peaks Minerals in 2021.
Six years operating in Guyana
In-country
Managing Director of Alicanto Minerals, leading exploration across the Arakaka and Ianna projects in the Northwest Mining District. Guyanese permitting, the GGMC, community relations and wet-season logistics are not skills acquired from Perth.
Brought Barrick to Guyanese ground
Rare
A US$10 million earn-in signed with Barrick Gold in March 2016 over Arakaka. Barrick had spent US$7.1 million before withdrawing in 2018. A further earn-in followed with Nordgold in 2019. His framing at the time: the work was funded without diluting shareholders.
Shell to 1.32Moz in four years
Recent
Founded Many Peaks Minerals in 2021, listed 2022, and delivered a maiden resource at Ouarigue in April 2026 of 26.7Mt at 1.54 g/t for 1.32Moz, 83% Measured and Indicated, at a reported discovery cost near A$11.25 an ounce. Same Birimian greenstone, other side of the Atlantic.
A corporate exit on the record
Track record
Director of Exore Resources, acquired by Perseus Mining by scheme of arrangement in 2020 after rapid resource growth at Bagoe in northern Cote d’Ivoire.

Steve Letwin
President and Chief Executive Officer of IAMGOLD Corporation for a decade, from November 2010 to February 2020, running a dual-listed producer that reached a market capitalisation of roughly C$11.5 billion with four operating mines across three continents.
A decade mining the Guiana Shield
Direct
IAMGOLD operated Rosebel in Suriname throughout his tenure, a mine producing around 337,000 ounces a year from the same Guiana Shield greenstone that underlies Liberty’s ground in Guyana. Very few people have run a producing gold mine on this shield. He is one of them.
Led a C$11.5 billion producer
Scale
Ten years as President and CEO of IAMGOLD, listed on both the TSX and NYSE, with operating mines at Rosebel in Suriname, Essakane in Burkina Faso, Westwood in Canada and an interest in Sadiola in Mali, plus development projects across North America, South America and West Africa.
Birimian on both sides of the Atlantic
Same rocks
Essakane in Burkina Faso sits in the West African Birimian greenstone that formed a single belt with the Guiana Shield before the Atlantic opened. Together with Rosebel, his operating experience spans both halves of the terrane Liberty is exploring.
Discovery converted to reserves
Delivery
Under his leadership Rosebel advanced the adjacent Saramacca discovery from resource to reserve within a year, adding an extra five years of mine life and lifting Saramacca’s Measured and Indicated resources by 72% to 1.2 million ounces.
Honoured by two host governments
Trusted
Awarded the Order of the Yellow Star by Suriname in 2018 and L’Officier de l’Ordre National by Burkina Faso in 2011. In jurisdictions where permitting and community relations decide project timelines, that standing is not decorative.
The evidence
Granted permits, not applications
Strong
Forty granted medium-scale permits across ~180km² in two consolidated blocks. Guyanese permits issue in 1 to 5km² parcels held by private citizens, so a package this size needed agreement across dozens of holders and cannot be assembled quickly.
Proven method, not a proxy
Strong
The district’s largest deposit was found by soil geochemistry. A 2020 soil program outlined the 6km anomaly that became Oko West. Liberty’s 5,000-sample program is the same technique on the same trend.
Systems that continue at depth
Strong
Peer drilling returned 14.3m at 8.2 g/t from 433m downhole, with resource zones open below 350m vertical. Historic mining in the district stopped at 70 to 100m. The shear-hosted style continues far below anything tested by hand.
A credible path to partner funding
Strong
The August 2026 board appointment brings in a director who has twice signed majors, Barrick and Nordgold, onto Guyanese gold ground.
Direct abutment at Oko North
Strong
Oko North shares a boundary with ground formerly held by G2 and now owned by GMIN, close to the New Oko Discovery. The shear corridor is mapped over 15km-plus and peer work indicates the architecture continues north.
The 5.3km workings corridor
Strong
Independent georeferencing of public satellite imagery reports ~5.3km of artisanal disturbance in the northern block, continuing into GMIN ground. Linear workings over that strike suit a structural control better than random alluvial traps.
Oko South continuation
Moderate
The southern block covers what Liberty interprets as the southern continuation of the trend, and may capture more granite-greenstone contact than the northern block.
Important. Nearby discoveries, transactions or interpreted geological similarities are not necessarily indicative of mineralisation within Liberty’s tenure and do not guarantee exploration success. The Project is a greenfields exploration project and no Mineral Resources or Ore Reserves have been estimated on Liberty Metals’ tenure.
