Adelong Gold has applied to extend the granite contact zone at its Apollo Gold Project by a further 18 kilometres, ahead of receiving assay results from the recently completed drilling program.

The Strathbogie Granite contact has proven to be a key geological control on mineralisation at Apollo. It has already demonstrated the presence of disseminated, intrusion-related gold (IRG) mineralisation, highlighting the potential for bulk-tonnage deposits.

Notably, previous drilling returned intersections such as 77 metres at 1.15 g/t gold (hole 22GMRC12), confirming the prospectivity of the granite contact zone.

Upon grant, the Apollo Project will cover approximately 220 km², significantly enhancing Adelong’s strategic foothold within the district.
