AuKing has received assays for four holes of 31 at its Tundulu rare earths project in southern Malawi, and they have surpassed the historical drilling they were drilled to validate. The headline intersections are 91m at 1.51% TREO from 40m in 26NH005 and 80m at 1.54% from surface in 26NH029, including 11m at 4.33%.

The basket is where Tundulu separates itself from its neighbours. HREE+Y runs 11.46% of TREO across 42 continuous metres and as high as 16.09% over shorter intervals, against 1 to 3% for a conventional carbonatite. The heavies track phosphate, pointing to apatite as the host, and in those apatite-rich zones the rock carries 100 to 200ppm dysprosium with NdPr above 21% of the basket.
