AT4 Reports Strong Interim Drilling Observations at Antimony Canyon (Utah)
American Tungsten and Antimony Ltd (ASX: AT4) has delivered an encouraging early update from its maiden diamond drilling program at the 100% owned Antimony Canyon Project in Utah, USA. While laboratory assays are still pending, the first three diamond drill holes have already produced highly positive interim observations, with multiple zones of visible antimony mineralisation logged across the program to date.
Drilling is currently focused on the Emma historical working within AT4’s Patented Claims, where the Company is targeting extensions of known stibnite mineralisation at depth and along strike. Importantly, core logging has identified repeated intervals of massive to disseminated stibnite, supporting the Company’s geological model and reinforcing the view that Antimony Canyon may represent a large-scale antimony system on American soil.
Key interim drilling highlights (visual observations)
-
Hole ACP26DD001 intersected an interpreted ~42 metre altered and mineralised zone, including an estimated ~19 metre main zone of massive to semi-massive stibnite (approx. true thickness).
-
Hole ACP26DD002 logged pervasive stibnite mineralisation over ~63 metres before drilling was halted due to bogged rods. AT4 intends to re-drill and extend this hole to test deeper continuity.
-
Hole ACP26DD003 is progressing towards the interpreted high-grade feeder structure, with logging confirming massive stibnite, along with realgar and orpiment pathfinders, which can be associated with stronger antimony systems.
AT4 has stated that these interim core observations provide increasing confidence in the scale and continuity potential of the mineralised system. The next key milestone will be the release of laboratory assays, with results from Hole 1 expected by late January 2026.
Why Antimony Canyon matters
Antimony has become a strategic commodity for the United States, given its importance in defence applications, flame retardants and specialised industrial uses. With global supply heavily concentrated offshore, AT4’s goal is to advance Antimony Canyon as part of a domestic US antimony supply chain, supporting critical industries while reducing reliance on foreign imports.
With drilling continuing and assays approaching, Antimony Canyon is quickly shaping into one of the most closely watched antimony exploration stories on the ASX.
