American Tungsten & Antimony Limited has been selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to commence negotiations on a potential award of up to US$18 million for its ASCEND-Sb domestic antimony smelting project, one of only nine projects chosen nationally under a US$162 million federal program.
AT4 cleared the same competitive technical screen as Alcoa and Centerra’s Thompson Creek Metals, and is the smallest listed company on the selection list.
