American Tungsten & Antimony Ltd (ASX: AT4) has made a decisive move in bolstering its technical leadership, welcoming David Groombridge to the team as Exploration Manager for its U.S. operations.
With over two decades of hands-on experience spanning mineral exploration, resource development and project evaluation, Groombridge brings exactly the kind of proven, senior-level expertise AT4 needs as it accelerates activity across its critical minerals portfolio in Utah and Nevada.
His career history reads like a who’s who of respected ASX-listed resource companies. Having served as Exploration Manager at Medallion Metals (ASX: MM8), Chief Executive Officer of Riedel Resources (ASX: RIE), and Senior Geologist at Silver Lake Resources, Groombridge has navigated projects through every stage of the exploration and development cycle. That breadth of experience, from boots-on-the-ground geology through to executive leadership, means he understands what it takes to advance a project efficiently and competently.
Critically for AT4, Groombridge has specific technical familiarity with tungsten and polymetallic systems, including the structurally controlled and intrusion-related mineralisation styles that characterise the Company’s Utah and Nevada tungsten assets.
His background in geochemistry, geological mapping and drill programme execution positions him to hit the ground running as AT4 advances targets across the Antimony Canyon, Tennessee Mountain and Fraction Lode projects, amongst others.
In short, Groombridge is a technically credentialed, commercially experienced geoscientist whose skill set aligns closely with AT4’s near-term exploration ambitions and its broader goal of establishing a domestic U.S. critical minerals supply chain.
